People often think that Jjolmyeon noodle is tough, but NADRI Jjolmyeon is chewy rather than though because of the thickness. The sauce is made of some 30 ingredients, including quality red pepper powder and paste, and onion, through lowtemperature ripening process for more than 20 days.

You will slowly find the deliciously spicy taste spreading in your mouth as you enjoy NADRI Jjolmyeon.

 

Recipe

1.Put the thawed noodles into the boiling water and leave it for 7 minutes.

2. Remove the noodle from boiling water and wash it in running cold water.
Put it in a bowl and mix with the enclosed seasoning, seaweed, and sesame garnish.

Company Overview

Must-go place in Yeongju, Gyeongbukthat opened in 1986 and has been passed down through three generations.

The beginning of YeongjuNADRI dates back tothe 1st generation founder, SeonjaJeon, who started a noodle restaurant in NamdaemunGate shortly after the outbreak of the Korean War

CEO Jeon is from Suncheon, Pyeonganbuk-do, a region well-known for skillful hands in cooking. In difficult times, her culinary talent quickly turned the restaurant into a renowned establishment. Later, her daughter-in-law, CEO JeongaeKim, inherited this exceptional culinary skill and opened 'NADRI,' a Jjolmyeonspecialty restaurant, in Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do in 1986. The 2ndgeneration owner, JeongeKim, put in countless efforts to capture the unique taste of chewy noodles and established NADRI Jjolmyeonas a nationally renowned noodle restaurant. Since 2016, her son, HuiyunJeong, has been carrying on the tradition.

The signature menu, Jjolmyeon, has a distinct, plump, and thick texture that can't be found anywhere else, offering a rich and addictive taste with a pleasantly spicy kick. Other popular menu items at NADRI include savory and kid-friendly Gan-Jjolmyeon, refreshing cold Naeng-Jjolmyeonfor the summer, and homemade Pork Cutlet.

Over the years, NADRI has been a beloved local restaurant with a long history and cherished memories for the residents of the area. Now, it has become a popular destination for tourists from other regions as well.
