Company Overview

Applease Korea Brewery is a company that manufactures, distributes and exports traditional apple wine in Uiseong with Uiseong apples.

The founder of Applease Korea Brewery, who had been running an apple orchard for generations in Uiseong, Gyeongbuk, saw Calvados in France in the 1970s and made wine with apples grown in Uiseong with the idea that apples could be made into alcohol. After researching with the belief to convey the charm of its taste to alcoholics, our Apple wine and chateul soorok are recognized not only in the domestic market but also in the overseas market, achieving an export record of more than $5 million in 2023.

Uiseong, North Gyeongsang Province, is an area suitable for farming with its wide Angye plain and fertile land. In particular the main production area of apples, a specialty product of Uiseong, has a greater diurnal temperature difference than other regions, abundant sunlight, and low precipitation, so it has suitable climatic conditions for growing apples. Based on the know-how of operating an apple orchard from generation to generation, we are cultivating and using excellent quality apples through meticulous soil management and production management.

All liquors of Applease Korea Brewery are aged in traditional Korean pottery(Onggi), not in oak barrels. The part that our CEO paid the most attention to when establishing the manufacturing plant was manufacturing our own, Korean products, rather than copying products from other countries. After looking for various methods. We found the answer in the aging method. When it is aged in a traditional Onggi that contains the taste of Korea, rather than an oak barrel, the flavor of Korean food is naturally added to the alcohol, and you can feel the taste of Korea in all products.

Although the origin of the product is from the Western world, the main ingredient is apples grown in Uiseong, Korea, and because it is made our way, we always take pride in being manufactures Korean traditional wine.
