Company Overview

Namkwang food was established ed in 1981 and has made an effort to create more healthy and well- being food culture for consumers through laver and seaweed, one of most ethnic foods of Korea.

Namkwang food purchases best raw material of laver harvested between January and February from Ocean, which is considered as best season for laver harvest and stores this laver at twenty degree below zero.

By doing so, Namkwang food’s laver has rich mineral and excellent umami. Based on this, we have processed the laver roasting twice at proper temperature and supply to our consumers maintaining a native flavor of laver raw material(Stone Laver and traditional laver) and same quality all the time. We have been producing laver in sanitized facilities by obtaining various certifications such as HACCP, ISO22000, HALAL, FDA, FSSC22000, USDA Organic, the Busan Premium Fishery Product, the Traditional Food Quality Certification and K-FISH that only the Korean representative fishery products can be certified.
